Laser Hair Removal
Excessive hair is troublesome for every male and female. Threading, waxing, shaving, and hair removal creams have a temporary solution. However, laser hair removal is a single and permanent solution for the removal of unwanted hair.
Q. How does it work?
Laser hair removal devices emit certain beams of light targeting the roots of hair follicles. Those lights are absorbed by the roots and get permanently destroyed.
As different types of hair and color of skin tone need different intensity of wavelengths of light, we have FDA-approved triple wavelength diode lasers which has 808nm used for normal Asian skin, 755 nm used for more white skin tones, and 1064nm for African or darker skin of colors.
A combination of all the wavelengths will remove all the types of hair required to be removed.
Q. How frequently must we do it?
=> Laser hair Removal in a single session only targets the growing phase of hair follicles. So, 6 to 12 sessions will be required done 4 to 8 weeks apart for permanent hair reduction.
Q. Is it painful?
=> No, not at all. It’s completely safe although a slight tingling sensation will be felt but it’s completely tolerable. As it only removes the hair follicles it has no side effects.
Q. Will my hair grow back again?
=> After complete removal of hair and after completed sessions, 10% to 30% of hair with finer density & very slow growth tends to grow back depending upon your genes. Hence, in a year or two some touch-up sessions will be required for most individuals.
Q. What is pre and post-procedure care?
=> Pre-procedure- no using of hair removal creams and waxing threading after starting the procedure until we completely get rid of all the hair. The only method to remove the regrowing hair is shaving. Make sure you are not tanned before the procedure.
=> post procedure: no hot shower for 48hrs lukewarm shower is fine. Skin is in the sensitive form now so as not to get sunburned or tan
